Aubane Filée Beauty is a universal experience. It cannot be taught. It cannot be explained. It cannot go unnoticed or be unseen. When I met Aubane Filée (Instagram accounts -- artistic: @f_l_u_n_e__b_a_i_e professional: @_flune_ ), I knew then and there that my camera would become addicted to her gentle lines, to the ethereal energy of her presence. My eyes came to rest on her beauty during hours-long soul's exchange framed by the dimmed lights of a restaurant. After every encounter, I was left reminiscent of an otherworldly experience... a deep spiritual connection flavored by fresh beauty, kindness, and candor flowing from her lips through the sensual timbre of her voice. A music that dissolved time into a single instant of bliss. With her, I learned how to see beauty. Anew. With her I am building a family made of love, communication and growth. I am a marine scientist who grew a profound passion for photography and the media. I nurture my soul developing a deep connection with nature, culture and the wisdom of the World and its many peoples. I wish to share what I have learned with you. After my master in Marine Biology, I pursued and received my PhD in Marine Sciences at the Ghent University, where I worked as researcher for more than 15 years. A world citizen at heart, I travelled the world and discovered that its beauty is intrinsically embedded in the diversity of all its peoples and their cultures. My camera was first a travel companion. Finally, after years of practice, I discovered how I am "my happiest self" when behind the lens, when people allow me to capture their beauty, when they trust me with their life moments. I am the happiest when I can witness and capture love. In 2025 I decided to step out of a world made of numbers and graphs, to enter the space of light and shadows, turning into a researcher of love, memories and emotions through the lens of my camera. I welcome everyone independent of their race, gender identity, sexual orientation, social class and religious belief. I speak Italian, English, Spanish, Dutch and French. With a degree in orthopaedic footwear technology for sports and rehabilitation, Simon integrates this knowledge into classic and timeless footwear made of selected high quality leather. His designs are shaped by the handcraft he refined during months of apprenticeship with Italian shoemakers from Milan and Treviso — family ateliers where knowledge has been passed down for generations, and where Simon perfected his art. Simon works from his home atelier, where he welcomes clients, measures their feet, and guides them on a journey through the world of bespoke footwear. Together, they choose the model, shape, leather, and many other details, ultimately creating a true work of art to be worn on your feet.
